PERSONAL VISIONS: THE STORIES AND CONFESSIONS OF CANADIAN AUTOCINEMA
December 10, 2012 / Regent Park Arts Centre, Toronto
Screenings of work by Trevor Anderson, Alexander Carson, Tess Girard, Jon Rafman, and Jordan Tannahill
An evening of confessional and poetic cinema from five young Canadian filmmakers, united by a shared sensibility. The films are assemblages of formats, imagery, fact and fiction, all told through disarming first-person narration. Each piece is borne out of a highly individual creation process, often in which the filmmaker is the solitary artist involved.
Produced with the assistance of Naomi Skwarna and Rae Powell
